Play. Train. Compete.

La Manga Club has a long tradition in tennis and sport. Whether you fancy a friendly match on holiday or intensive coaching, there are plenty of ways to get on court.

Tennis

Courts, coaching, academies and programmes for different ages and levels.

Book a court for a couple of sets before breakfast, join a group clinic, or build your week around proper training. If you're travelling as a family, there's usually something for every age.

Padel

One of the fastest-growing sports in Spain is part of what the resort and the area have to offer. It's booming back home too.

Never played? Here's the idea

  • It's played in doubles, on a court about a third the size of a tennis court.
  • The court is enclosed by glass and mesh walls, and the ball can be played off them.
  • Serves are underarm, and scoring is the same as tennis.
  • Solid, stringless rackets and a slightly softer ball make it easy to pick up.

Most people are rallying within half an hour. Hard to put down after that.

Academies & coaching

Courses

Structured programmes over several days to take your game up a level.

One-to-one sessions

Private coaching to work on the shots that let you down.

Junior programmes

Coaching and activities for children, pitched at their age and ability.

Sports activities

Group sessions and events for players who enjoy a bit of competition.

Before you play

A few things that make a tennis or padel holiday go smoothly.

  1. Book ahead

Courts and coaches get busy in spring, autumn and the school holidays.

  2. Beat the heat

From June to September, play early in the morning or in the evening.

  3. Pack the right shoes

Check which surface you'll be playing on and bring shoes to match.

  4. Sun cream and water

The Murcia sun is stronger than it feels, even on a breezy day.
